Our Vision & Mission
Dear Scholarship Applicant or Scholarship Coordinator,
The founder and CEO of Marcia Thomas Enterprise (MTE), Coach Eugene Thomas, and his beloved wife Marcia Thomas have a heart of pure gold and have been big supporters and mentors for our community youth for over 30 plus years. Coach Thomas wanted to give a scholarship to a High School Graduate who will be attending HBCU, who has demonstrated love for their community through community service, and who takes pride in their education and future. Our mission is to support the educational aspirations of talented students and help them achieve their full potential. For the last two years, we awarded over $10,000 in scholarships.
MTE would like to extend an invitation to all graduating seniors, undergraduate, and/or graduates who will be attending an HBCU to apply for our 2026 Marcia Thomas Enterprises Scholarship. We ask that you please share the enclosed application information with other qualifying students. We look forward to receiving all applications no later than May 1, 2026
